Math: Math and Logic

My views on Math and Logic
Math and Logic.  If you have witnessed my mind you will must have noticed that I do not believe in math or logic.  They are fun, yes, or maybe just entertaining, like crossword puzzles.  Like crossword puzzles they have rules to go by and things to figure out, but none of it is eternally true outside in the real world.
Math, logic, and our scientific method, for the matter, were all created by human minds and can only reach and express the capacity of human minds; not Eternal, not Infinite, not Reality.

I do think there is a benefit to doing math and crossword puzzles; they work your brain and start making connections.  They let you think of stuff and they induce thoughts.  I think doing math is beneficial because it helps you think logically, like humans have decided to live, by logic.  Could it be that Math is the creation of our world, the dominant stage of human minds (and this is the only reason why it makes so much sense, because the world has agreed upon it).

By thinking logically you are able to start thinking at all, but since math is not Eternal it will not last.  And if you think logically along the side of Truth and comparing it to Reality, and if you have your mind installed within Reality then you will find how math and logic disprove themselves.

But you need to start somewhere in order to find out that you are not going anywhere.

Math: Fractions


1~ To answer why 6/7 * 7 = 6
I ended up concluding that in the essence of in the fraction 6/7 represents a number that falls short of another number.  The goal number, or the ideal number (in our heads) would be for it to be 7/7, which would make it a complete unit.  6/7 is a number falling 1 (seventh) unit short of 7/7.  When you multiply 6/7 times that denominator (which is the standard of ideal) 7, the lack is “clearly” and beautifully evident.  The number ends up being 6 (as a whole unit); the lack of 6/7, is unitly evident in 6, but you have to understand 6 not only as a unit number in itself, but you must see 6 as 7 with a lack of  1 (6 = 7 -1). 

2~ You have answered why 6/7 * 7 = 6 but that does not answer why 7 * 6/7 = 6
7 * 7/7 = 7.  7 * unit = the original number itself.  6/7 is a representation of lack, it lacks from the wholy unit 7/7. So now, when you multiply 7 times a unit whole, it will be all of seven, but when you mulitiply 7 times a representation of lack, the result will be lack of 7, how much of the lack of 7 will it be (you ask)?, well the answer lays in the symbol itself, 6/7 lacks 1 (seventh) unit out of 7/7 so the lack from 7 will be 1 unit only.

3~ You have answered why 6/7 * 7 = 6 but that still does not let me picture it physically.
To answer this I must be able to hold a visual representation of 6/7 and how it fill each step as it is being multiplied.  But 6/7 is way too complicated to hold in mind so we will first get an idea of how it is suppose to be by looking at 2/3 * 3:

With 2/3 it is easy to see how the fractions fit nicely into the integer, by the second addition, 2/3 splits equally in half between the first section and the second section; and by the third addtion, the 2/3 ends with a tightly packed symmetry to complete the section.  It is easy to see, but there is also not much to see.  But the question still stands, why do fraction additions have this property?
Now the same two whole-units: [][][] - [][][]
Can be filled by 3/3 * 2:

[1][1][1] - [2][2][2]
And by 1/3 * 6:
[1][2][3] - [4][5][6]
now 6/7 in the unit representation of wholes would be in the following order.
[1][1][1][1][1][1][2] - [2][2][2][2][2][3][3] - [3][3][3][3][4][4][4] - [4][4][4][5][5][5][5] - [5][5][6][6][6][6][6] - [6][7][7][7][7][7][7]

I think that the story in here is to describe how the god unit ends up matching up with the God unit.
The way to explain this would be to assume that the Universe is 6
({} - {} - {} - {} - {} - {})

The only reason why 7 is relevant in matching up the fraction with the Universe, is because that is what you are dividing each unit the Universe into

({[][][][][][][]} - {[][][][][][][]} - {[][][][][][][]} - {[][][][][][][]} - {[][][][][][][]} - {[][][][][][][]})

So that 7 6/7’s fit evenly into it
({[*][*][*][*][*][*][+]}  {[+][+][+][+][+][*][*]}  {[*][*][*][*][+][+][+]}  {[+][+][+][*][*][*][*]}  {[*][*][+][+][+][+][+]}  {[+][*][*][*][*][*][*]})
 but 7 really has no relevance except that it is the one you have chosen to imagine.

The Universe could have worked just as well with 6/9 * 9

And even 6/4 *4
({[*][*][*][*]}  {[*][*][+][+]}  {[+][+][+][+]}  {[*][*][*][*]}  {[*][*][+][+]}  {[+][+][+][+]})
(notice how the set of sections have the numbers filled in with symmetry; this lets me know that there is a whole [where the symmetry is complete), But I am still unsatisfied with this answer because you begin by assuming that the Universe is 6.  I want my answer to start with 6/7 and only 6/7 and tell me how one would know how many times would it be necessary to accomplish the whole-unit and which whole-unit will it end up in.

So what is there to see from plain old
[1][1][1][1][1][1][*]

If we start by assuming that the Universe is from 0-1
0[][][][][][][]1
 and it has some line “randomly” drawn through the middle
0[][][][][][]X[]1

What can we learn from this randomly drawn line; how can it tell us of a symmetry that lays outside of the existence of the Universe? where and how will the symmetry be complete; and since we can not imagine what is outside our Universe of 0-1, what  will “symmetry” look like inside this Universe on its own.
6/7 - 1&5/7 - 2&4/7 - 3&3/7 - 4&2/7 - 5& 1/7 – 6

Notice that the turning point of where the fraction crosses over to its lesser half, in a body of 7 the half lies between 3 and 4 and the half of the body of 6 (as in the diagram) the half lays exactly between 2&4/7 and 3&3/7 or 18/7 and 24/7; which now would be 3 notice that when counting in units of 6/7, the fractions never touch the half of 6 (which is 3); I think this is because the god unit being used is not 1, but 6/7; but if it does not touch the half point just because it is god unit “whole” why is it still able to touch 6?



Two roads: answer why 6/7 * 7 = 6 and answer the relevance of this to any other fractions and their patterns like, the steps that a fraction like 6/7 takes as opposed to the steps a fraction like 1/7 takes.
God units and god units, there are no such things as integers (God units [integers] dont exist outside of our imagination).

Multiplication: the becoming of one another.

Lets once again look at 2/3 * 3:
[1][1][2] - [2][3][3]
 And 3/3 * 2:
[1][1][1] - [2][2][2]
And 1/3 * 6:
[1][2][3] - [4][5][6]

Now the same two whole-units: [][][] - [][][]

If you have noticed, the numerators of the fractions mulitiplied (2*3, 3*2, 1*6) yields the total number of sub-units of the sections; and the denominator, as always understood, defines the Whole-unit in terms of the sub-units.

Devolution of Manking (the Graceful Fall)

Pythagoras invented music?  He discovered the musical scale, which already existed.  He did this because he paid attention to subtle pleasures that he experienced when he heard certain intervals of notes.  He knew it was pleasing, and looked into it to discover even more.  He discovered the epitome of aural pleasures, he made a system of what used to be obtained by luck.  Like figuring out the buttons in the human mind, so that you have control of a person’s emotions by just pushing these essential buttons, like figuring out the exact formula of life, so now you do not have to depend on luck and weather to grow plentiful crops; like this he created the musical scale, so that now, any arrangement of these keys will be inspiring.  The curious thing, is that pleasure is predominant in the world, and all life has access to infinite pleasure; it is up to us to look into that which enlightens us, that which creates peace, and to live by nature’s arrangement of harmony, in a perfect world.

“The ancient Egyptians were aware of an additional yearly revolution, and they could predict important annual events like the flooding of the Nile by observing when different constellations were in the sky.”  (Measured Tones, Ian Johnston)  Today’s culture has no idea what to predict from the cosmos these days, the subject is even absurd.  Our culture is so turned off by the idea of intangible knowledge that we have ignored the empiric and pragmatic aspect of spirituality.  The reason why the ancients did not have the technology and commodities we have today is not because they did not have the knowledge or capability to create them, but because they knew how to subsist without them.  The reason why so lifespan was so short and why people were treated “unequally”, was because they based their existence on honor (a slowly fading memory of heaven), instead of having such their aspirations be based on a survival that will soon wear out and prove to be a waste of time; food, sleep, sex.  Ptolemy’s model of the cosmos was not meant to exemplify how the rocks in outer-space are moving; but it reflects a practical model that describes the star’s movement’s psychological effect on the human mind, and on other things that would eliminate physical survival from the list of priorities we have today.  Our culture cannot even conceive what could ever be more important than physical survival.  Next time you reject that tradition has any benefit, keep in mind that the our elders were born in an earlier time of this decaying universe, and thus they had access to an insight which is invisible to the even more decayed generation.  We have gone so far down the path of decay, that we actually believe that we are moving upwards the path; we have even proceeded to scorn and scoff at ancient wisdom; we are deranged to the point of being repulsed by the intelligence of the past.  Our technology is what our souls resort to as our spirit falls away from Nature, as our minds forget the wonders of our God-origin, and the miracles of a higher system of awareness; as our minds become more and more deranged, we are left with nothing to allude to, to find what we once knew.

This accusation applies to us as it applies to those before and after us, as the progression of decay is continuous through time.  But who am I to question this decay, this movement of nature?  If you can tap into the wisdom of a small past, you will realize how beautiful the cadence looks from the top.  When you learn the perfection of our progression, you will realize this descent as but a graceful fall.

Mula Veda

Writing a paper for Southern Asian religion class.  Assignment is to write a text that resembles the religious text of Hinduism.  I really like the assignment, because there are a lot of correlation with the direction that my mind already thinks in:

The Great All

Creation of the universe and all its creatures begins in the middle of eternity. Eternity exists forever and will forever remain the same.  The ends of eternity are just like the middle, and it is all the same all around; every point in eternity is the same measure away from the ends as any other.  Eternity is indefinite, indivisible and simple; this is the All.  There is only one All.  Every element of the universe and every creature is embodied and beheld in the All.The All is simple so that it has no parts that can be distinguished from one another.  The All is indivisible. The All is all that exists; the All is the only consciousness that exists; there is only one life.

Lower All’s

Within this All, there are smaller All’s; they do not compose the Great All and do not depend on the Great All.  The smaller All’s have the same intensity and immutability as the Great All.  Each smaller All is branded by the Great All, though each one has its own unique name.  The name of each smaller All is a fraction of the name of the Great and indivisible All.  There is an infinite number of smaller All’s because that is the capacity of the eternity of the Great All.  Within the smaller All’s, there is also an infinite number of properties, which reflects the capacity of the eternity of the Great All.  Thus there is no distinction between the smaller All’s and the Great All, between the smaller All’s and their properties, nor within the smaller All’s.  The all reflect each other in its own way, and there is no distinction between them.

Uniformity of All in All

Each smaller All has its own distinct properties different from all others and from the Great All, but each one reflects the Great All in its own way.  The infinite properties of each All allows each one to make reference to every All, their properties, and the Great all in its own way.  It also allows a smaller All to make reference to the reference that another All makes about it; in this way each all has the same capacity as every other All, so that there is no distinction between them.

The Thread:

There is ghost-like thread that is indirectly composed of parts of the Great all.  The thread is like smoke in that no point of the thread is intact to any other part of the thread, but all points flow freely.  The thread does not exist as a thread, but from an alleged imagination.  As the thread is created from an alleged imagination, it is a delusion; but as subset of the Great All it too has the capacity of the Great All.  The thread inevitably reflects the Great All, and has no distinction from it.  The thread is of the same constituent as the smaller All’s; there is no distinction between the threads, and the smaller All’s.  All points in eternity are the same.  The Great All beholds and embodies every element in the universe, in every All.  They are all immutable and indivisible.

Colors:

The thread has a unique color, the color is power; the power it has, is the power to see color.  The power gives the thread’s color, power to see color.  So the power is color, and color has power to see other colors within color, within itself.  Each color has an infinite amount of shades, each shade has an infinite amount of properties.  Thus, each color, shade, and property reflects the infinity of the Great All, and has no distinction from it.  Every subset has the same amount of ascendancy as the Great All.

Deterioration:

A thread courses to depths; it chooses to run through only one color, bypassing all others; it chooses to run through only one shade, bypassing all others; it chooses to run through only one level of that shade; in this way, thread corrodes as it runs deeper bypassing properties of the Great All.  The direction that the thread runs is not into depths, but in a deteriorating direction, as it bypasses unlimitedness of each subset.  This deterioration direction is just another alleged imagination; thus, a subset of the Great All.  Deterioration is perfect in its depth; it refers to all other All’s, and threads in its own unique way.  Deterioration reflects the Great All, the smaller All’s, and the threads, and has no distinction from them.  They are all immutable and indivisible.

Lack

The thread’s deterioration is perfect; as the thread crosses the path of deterioration, it loses properties.  As the thread loses properties, it gains emptiness.  Emptiness reflects the Great All, the smaller All’s, all threads, and all deteriorations in its own unique way; emptiness has the capacity to behold all properties of the Great All.  There is no distinction between emptiness and the Great All, or any of its properties.  They are all immutable and indivisible.

Creatures

Within all these subsets there are creatures.  Each creature beholds the Great All perfectly and completely in its own unique way.    Each creature reflects the Great All and all of its properties; it has no distinction from it.  Every creature has the capacity to behold and reflect every other All, and their reflection of other alls, in its own way.  They are all immutable and indivisible.

Man-Creature

The deterioration of man-creature befalls from a delusion in his mind.  This delusion comes from alleged imagination; a subset as infinite and complete as the Great All.  They are all immutable and immortal.

Suffering

The delusion is the agency of a thread that seeks incompleteness (a deteriorating thread).  The continuum of the thread is what causes delusion and misconception of the only all.  The goal of man-creature is to not deteriorate, to lack nothing.  But man-creature’s immutability will not allow it to change and will remain in the delusion of deterioration forever.  The goal of man-creature is to keep from delusion; the fate of man-creature is to remain in delusion.  And so it will remain in this subset, the thread that reflects all aspects of the Great All and has no distinction from it.  The goal of man-creature is to be as the Great All; the fate of man-creature is to remain in this thread.  Man is and will remain as the Great All forever; immutable, immortal, indivisible.



Note: The reason I did not use the terms (such as Brahmin and Atman, or any other name of gods) is because I feel that the terms we have used in class have already gotten a stereo-typical image stuck to them and would therefore not allow the intended message go through correctly.
