Dream Journal: Lucid Half-Dream Interpretation

Lucid Dreaming
There are things that only make sense in dreams. I have thoughts while I am dreaming that do not make sense once I wake up. Once one continues to fall asleep, these thoughts are transformed and are manifested into images and sounds; thus, we have dreams. Fortunately, out of habit, my mind automatically tries to dissect these movements. As I am falling asleep, while I am half-dreaming and as I begin to have these thoughts, I try to wake up just enough to grasp my waking language so that I can translate these thoughts into my waking mind. I am not always successful because I wake up too much before I am able to translate which results in forgetting how or that the thoughts I had even made sense. When I wake up, sometimes I cannot even remember what I was thinking; just like it happens with dreams. Sometimes I am able to translate them. I translate these thoughts before they manifest into images and sounds; these thoughts are not quite dreams yet, but they are precursors of dreams; I call them half-dreams. As I translate these half-dreams into my waking mind to know what these half, muddled thoughts mean, I am interpreting half-dreams as they are still in their embryonic state.
I haven’t gotten around to doing anything more than that, and I wouldn’t know how to interpret other people’s dreams either.

Dream Journal: March 9, 2014

Sunday Morning:
I was trying to sleep this morning, but I noticed that one of my mattresses was falling off the other. I had to be careful or else I would roll off due to the slant. My focus on trying to not roll off did not let me sleep. I did not want to fix myself either, or else I would scare the sleep away. I found myself in that dilemma. I was only barely awake: should I fix the mattress and scare the sleep away? Or should I stay and let the worry of rolling off keep me slightly awake? I just rolled off the mattress.
It did not feel like I was awake though. I looked up and sure enough, I was still on my bed; not mattress problems, just sleeping. It was just a dream. Again I had that feeling, I knew I was just dreaming this time. So I started crawling out of blankets, crawling into the dream world. I stood up. I was in my room. I had just had a dream right before the mattress dream. In that dream I was in a first grade class, and there was this drawing of trees with faces; eyes and mouth were black; illusion-forest style. I was in my room, and I remembered this dream. So I looked out the window and saw the trees in my backyard. I opened the window to get out, but I was afraid that climbing out would take too much concentration and would wake me up. So I willed my legs to pull through the bottom part of the window. The window opened up like a gate and I stepped out. I went to the trees and imagined them with faces; emphasizing the faces the closer I got to them. I went to a tree and it had eyes and mouth. I tried to make it talk. It was moving its mouth but no voice would come out. So I focus on another arm of the same tree. This arm also had a face, but it wasn’t awake. So I willed for it to wake up. It began to open its eyes, and I could see the white of its eyes as they were trying to roll forward. As the tree was waking up, he was trying to look at and focus on the outside world. It was looking dizzily around as it gained eyesight, trying to wake into its new sense. I saw it was confused. I willed: It had gained a new mind, one that could see and speak, it needed something to anchor its new mind to; by making eye contact with it, I would share with it my own mind’s stability. I willed its eyes towards mine, gesturing with my hand to get its eyes' attention, and I made eye contact with it. Its look of oblivion suddenly disappeared. As I stared into its blue eyes I had reached its soul and stabilized it. I tried to make it speak, but only moans would come out: “I, I need, I need…” it said. Those words seemed too familiar; I realized it only said what I willed it to say, since I was in control of the dream. “You need what?” I asked. “You need water?” I asked as my world darkened and I began to wake up.

Dream Journal: January 15, 2014

So I was in the bathroom (not sure if it was before or after brushing my teeth), then I noticed in the mirror that I got a haircut and thought,"oh, I cut it already? I was supposed to let my friend play with it first. And then Pamela was supposed to cut it. Oh well. Well maybe Pamela did cut it since its not that short." Then I started playing with it, checking it out through the mirror; bummed out that it I had cut it. The more I touched through my hair the more hair appeared, until all my hair was back. So I thought, "Oh, my hair came back, but I thought my hair was short for sure!" Then I realized I was dreaming, and was excited!
Thinking of what to do now, I looked out the window and saw my nieces and her friends playing outside. So I thought to show them how I could fly, and practice my flying. So I phased through the wall and went up to them and told them, "Hey! You want to see how I could fly?" And I jumped high and was about to touch the ground again but I focused and was successfully levitating. My nieces were all impressed that I could do that. They were excited and they yelled my mom out the house to ask her how I could do that. It was getting hard for me to remain levitating so I thought to myself, "Okay remember how to do this" and I focused my mind differently and I went up higher and easier. I was now flying around easily in one area; which is the first time I fly with such detail, normally I fly long distances with only a general location in mind of where I want to fly to. Here I was flying to small specific locations around my lawn. Then I flew downward head first towards Michelle and back upward barely missing her. They were all excited. Then I thought to show them how I could teleport; but I wanted to teleport only four yards away to show them. I had never done anything like this because every time I teleport it is always to a completely random location, so I never tried to teleport with a specific location in mind. As I tried to do this, I was stuck with the two locations in my mind and got stuck between the teleport. "Aw, I guess I'm waking up... I'll try next time."

Dream Journal: January 8, 2012

Dream: we were in some dungeon building running away from some men in suits who were also looking for the clay bowl of fire… it broke.  Rules said that once one broke one could make another.  My mom made one and signed it with her name.  They were chasing me as they realized that what they had was not the fire bowl, but a lighting bowl (which was worthless to them).  They knew that I had it, and chased me down some stairs. I escaped the building and locked the door behind me, they would have to go through all the obstacles and traps again to reach the next exit so they could reach me.  This gave me time to reach the place where I would make the bowl ascend.
I was running towards the van, my will to move was such that I began to fly… and so I realized I was dreaming.  I began to descend as I got closer to the van, but then I realized that I could just fly to my destination (if I used the van it would turn into a car chase…).  I learned how to fly in dreams decently in a dream I had on October 8, 2011.  But then I was concerned that they would be able to shoot me down from the sky, so I thought of using the same mental method I learned to fly with, and teleport.  I tried teleporting, and I teleported to another similar looking parking lot… or was it the same one and I was just facing a different direction? I wasn’t sure, maybe it was the same parking lot in a different universe or time… The risk was too high, I needed to teleport to a place where those guys wouldn’t reach me.
I teleported to the desert.  It was a beautiful desert, clouds covered the sky, and the horizon was covered with a soft fog, as I landed the sand looked like if it was made out of brown-yogurt colored cotton cream, with bluish tint at the distance.  I flew forward and the sky closed up so that I was now in a cave; There were snow covered “pillars” spinning with tilted towers on top of them, these pillars guarded the entrance to a tunnel… I flew over to the pillars to inspect this sight; (if I intended to look for the place to make the bowl ascend I had forgotten about it by now).
As I reached the spinning pillar it was now just a small trunk sized stub, I touched the pillar as it was spinning; I felt the cold of the snow as I rubbed it off with my fingers.  As for the tower on top of it… I looked up but I couldn’t see it.  A car drove into the tunnel and I thought to chase it to check it out.  It sped up as I was running towards it so I began to fly, but I couldn’t focus to fly fast enough to reach it; I lost it.  I went back out of the tunnel where the spinning pillars were.  On my way out of the tunnel I pushed some wooden crates out of the way (they were the size small of bedrooms).  A I was back in the cave, I thought to put the crates back where they were.  I knew that in dreams, simple tasks like these could become really complicated (just like running down a hall to a door can become a nightmare); so to keep things simple and to be able to “mind their location in the dream” as I moved them, I used the same mental method I used when flying to move them back telekinetically… and I did.

Dream Journal: October 8, 2011

It was AMAZING!
I just woke up from a lucid dream; I had always had trouble with flying at will in dreams, usually I would just make do by jumping really high.  Until I once had a dream that I jumped and willed myself to stay in the air… it worked well but soon wore off as I landed beside the “Venom” looking monster that told me a strange message and beside the yellow school bus.
This dream though: In a basketball court gym-like setting.  I was lying down with Marie covered in a blanket and a ballerina Whittie kept dancing over us so that I could see his spandex up his skirt.  He was messing around so I messed around too by grabbing his leg and dropping him.  Before I knew it, everyone was talking about it and it was on the news (just like old times, right?).  On the television that was in the room, I saw how they had interviewed many people about the matter… I was waiting to see if they had interviewed me to see my opinion and why I had done it.  This one kid kept standing up to me as I just kept shoving him a side’ he kept trying to prove that I was not all that much of a challenge.  So he shoved me and I dropped him on the floor.  He kept raising the stakes to try and beat me; he started by saying that all he had to do is get in my way a little to intimidate me, then by saying that he just had to use a little force… eventually he resorted to “grab a weapon”, so I knocked him in the head, dropped him on the ground, grabbed a metal toolbox which I slammed him with its corner, and then proceeded to smash his head in.  Yes, I felt threatened.  The others were encouraging me out of sick excitement and even brought me and acid bomb to smash on his head to finish him off, but I thought it was too much.  Then I left the place since it felt too hostile.
This is the relevant part of the dream: I was climbing houses as I was getting away, and I was (on the side of mind) thinking about how if this world was constituted by my beliefs then it was my beliefs that allowed my legs to hold up the rest of my body.  If I could rearrange this belief and have that belief to be on top of me (that it holds me down on the ground) and maneuver it from there, I would be able to fly.   I was hesitant to try it since meditation in my dreams may wake me up, so I tried to do it without thinking about it too much and I SHOT UP.  I shot up like Neo at the end of The Matrix (except I was looking towards the ground).  It was night, I could feel the wind and see all the lights and the trees it was so beautiful and amazing, and even more amazing how I got it on the first shot.  At first I was afraid that I may not come down (since I kept moving fast-ward towards the sky), but then I let myself go since it was a dream anyway and it didn’t matter if I ended up in outer-space (I was also curious as well).  But of course I lost focus and I slowed down and I began to descend… the ground was closer than where I had left it, especially because as I kept going up I crossed another level of trees (which was probably the same level, but it was just a repetition), and that was the ground I landed in.

The reason this is relevant is because (even though I have managed to do it a few times) it is always difficult for me to fly, and this time I only used my mind (as opposed to using my stress).  Also how I decided to use this focusing because of everything that I have been learning, and it worked, it did what I thought it would do; and this is like a confirmation that I may be doing something right.

Dream Journal: September 5, 2011

I went 2 to 3 miles away from home in a couple of seconds.  I was frustrated because the time it was going to take me to get back and go back to sleep I could be using it to sleep.  I have been concerned about catching up on sleep and getting plenty of it since I finished college.  And now here I was; I guess I could go back home the way I got here, by holding on to a car that was driving in that direction, but no that’s too dangerous.  Then I realized that the amount of distance I had covered in such small amount of time was ridiculous, and so I also realized I was dreaming.

“Ok, good.  I don’t have to worry about going to sleep because I am already asleep, awesome.  I also noticed that my worrying about going to sleep didn’t let me feel like I was resting… anyways, so I was lucid dreaming.  “What do you want to do Jimmy? You can’t miss out on this opportunity.  Do you want to go in that house across the street and rape whoever is in there?  I bet you can find a nice young girl to seduce.”  “Nah, it doesn’t even sound exciting anymore.” I usually like to lucid dream because I could do whatever I want, but since I have been trying to get rid of my desires these days I felt like nothing I did would be fulfilling, there was nothing I really wanted to do.  “What’s the point of doing anything?  None of it is worthwhile anyways.”  So I just decided to sit on the sidewalk and wait for me to wake up.  As I was walking towards the curb I noticed a bat on the tree by me.  It clumsily made its way towards the ground and stood there, it was the size and the shape of Garfield or Cheshire cat, but it was all black.  It looked scary and I was concerned about what it might do to me, but I didn’t worry about anything because it was a dream anyway.

Its eyes were kept closed and as it grinned it looked like it was about to say something, but then I noticed that I had inhibitions to help the people across the street bring in their groceries into their house, because I thought it might be kind of awkward.  I felt like a failure, I never endorse having inhibitions or responding to them, and here I am having inhibitions IN A DREAM?  And so I went up to those people to practice being awkward,  I stood in front of the guy that was getting out the stuff out of his black car, and stared at his face… after a good few seconds I said, “Hi, you need any help?”  And then I did the same with one of the other people.  A bus hit one of the Karts that had groceries in them (I think this one was full of peeled potatoes and carrots) and so I got my board to go after them.  Then I woke up.

I woke up; the clouds look beautiful out the door.  On my way to the bathroom, I realized that I got completely distracted by my desire to get rid of my inhibitions; I could have sat on the curb with Cheshire bat and have meditated or something.  I could have probably had that experience again where I “see the sleep” that I had a couple of nights ago.  I guess I should do this “falling deeper into myself” thing more often.

Dream Journal: November 27, 2008

The interpretation of my dream came automatically, I think it was because I was half asleep this was on thanksgiving night.

Im not sure I remember the dream but the interpretation may have been something like this.. since this is what is written: Thanks giving day there are awkward rituals that humans have.  No one feels the need to do things like this, if this was of actual importance it would not be done only once a year.  People need to appreciate and learn to appreciate every day, making it part of a habit, slowly assimilating it into their perspective.

Awkward rituals, all we have is pointless, Im age 19 and developing an Ecclesiastical view of life. I, and everyone, am going to die, no one seems to notice that, of anyone.

Dream Journal: July, 2 2009

So my dream became lucid, and I told my brother that it was a dream and he could do whatever he wanted.  The terrain was canyon dirt, we were at the bottom of a cliff, it was burning orange at the sunset. To show him what I meant I  ran towards a train that was passing by in a rail tracks.  The train passed but I managed to jump over and barrel roll over the white convertible car that was chasing behind the train.  So as I felt I made my point we walked some feet and I thought I saw a shooting star in the purple blue orange sky, I looked and it was gone,  but then appeared another that split into two. Then I thought I should wake up because I felt like peeing and I knew that peeing in a dream would not solve the problem, but before I woke up I thought I should go for a quick rape.  I saw a building nearby, there should be someone to rape over there I thought. I tried to fly over there but I could not even jump high, as it happened when I tried it over the car.  My body was really heavy, there was a path leading towards the building but it was to far, I would have to go through the thorn field, and was I barefoot?  Well I tried to fly as a hopeful attempt, at least to jump as high as possible over the thornfield.  My body was heavy and I did not go very far.  The thorn were painful on my feet so I thought some heavy metal shoes would help.  I slipped the shoes as I magically pulled them from the back of my ankle, the worked, but they wore out quickly and eventually disappeared, but I was out of the thornfield.  I was outside of the building, I wanted to go to the second or third floor but again, my body was heavy and I could not jump very high.  I went in through the front and was going to go up the stairs, every thing was industrial dark and green light stripes and such.  As I was going for the stairs I  lost focus and woke up.

Dream Journal: April 22, 2009

I had watched castle repercussions c from new grounds, talked to a therapist about my situation, as Clare Carson...

The dream:

There was crystal garcia trying to prove flaws in the word of God but there came a point where she couldnt contradict... she wanted to but she couldnt, could it have been that it was only because of her pride that she was atheist. Then I realized who she was, crystal my atheist friend, “uh oh seems like you are having trouble with the word of God come here and give me  a hug” now the guys we were talking to were legit logicicist and what not.

I sat down on a couch while she hugged me, she was on a weird body pose since she was short and I was sitting down, so she decided to kneel down while I sat down while she held on to me. It was strange andd we knew, but we felt comfortablt and ignored it.

“Wait what is he doing?” a black person ffrom our cult appeared to be under a car trying to hit at something with his practical joke gun, he was aiming  at something, it felt kind of serious but it would take care of itself.  There was this gorilla doing tricks with a gun, he was acting like a gangster. He was toying with those that messed with him, the black kid being one of  them. The gorilla knew he was being picked on, and he stood his ground, he claimed his legitemacy well.

For the time being I was trelling crystal to look at the  funny gorilla, she was still holding on to me. The gorilla stood his ground well, he started breaking against people as people tried to take him down with actual tranquilizers. He shot at them, hand stands gun twirling stylish you name it, he has it, unstoppable. As the time kept progressing he was getting more severe people were getting killed, he was causing mayhem, stylishly killing anybody that made any action that symbolized a threat. (example, these kids threw a heavy gun at him [by overhand], he kicked it back  [by overhand] and as it was in front of the subjects he shot a thin object that triggered the gun to shoot multiple beams at the kids.) Straight, with style. There was mayhem, I guess these creatures were in other parts of the city because they all started to appear. There was heavy mayhem.

We were stilll sitting in the trunk of a car, wondering if and when we were safe, if we should make a move, there was this happen-holy-member. He was programmed, and protected he did, he was programmed like one of those creatures, and e did his job well. He protected us from this brain-rode who was baby-sitting at our spot, he kept shooting massive amounts of energy beams at us; fear had struck us we felt the danger.  But how did we manage to survive over night?  By chance he would keep us alive, of course we didnt feel safe. Even though we knew he would keep us alive even overnight while we slept, it would be by chance. So then I realized a giant humanoid vehicle, the head was where we were. Covered by bullet proof glass and indestructuble alloy.

I dream of a future society that will be able to have these dangers under control unlike the present society that gets whipped by it, humanity.

There are 12-16 cults which we must defeat each one has unique properties and owns an existence in the world of human beings, these are the mysterious, what we call reality, but they are only illusions, beliefs of the human mind, and their limits are strong.  But they must be defeated, in todays society these cults are regarded as part of our existence and necessary to human life, but I dream of a future society, the next society, after most of humanity has been destroyed, that this society would be a well suited one to stand the evils of these cults.
